Title sequence
I’d been following AJ Brennan’s work for a while, so when I saw he was looking for an animator, I reached out.
He was developing Therapy with Theo, a mockumentary about a dysfunctional “takeaway therapist” who shows up at your door to listen to your problems.
AJ came to me with a very rough storyboard and a couple of references, and gave me the freedom to shape the title sequence from there.
I developed the visual style, pacing, and tone, keeping things playful, slightly surreal, and rooted in his character.
